Wyoming Grave Site Clean-Up

Here is a post my Dad put up on Facebook:

This post is just family, my immediate and extended, on the Saunders side. I wanted to give you a heads up about an upcoming event and feel free to share with other family members not on Facebook.
There is an old family cemetery from my mother's side (Mangum) in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It has quite a story and too long to put in one post so perhaps over the next several weeks I will share pieces of it. It used to be situated on their homestead there in Wyoming. It now sits right in the middle of a big housing area called Teton Village. A bunch of us family are going to gather there the third week-end in May (just ahead of Memorial Day week-end), probably May 19-22 (Thursday to Sunday) and clean up the cemetery, plant wild flowers and depending upon funding, perhaps do some other things.
I am going to see if Lorna will coordinate housing for anyone who would like to come, rent vacation homes for groups of people. You would have to pay her in advance as she doesn't have the funds for paying for them. But if this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, can you let me know.
Depending upon funding, there are several relatives of the family and a family that was good friends wiht the Mangum's also buried there and we will see if we can afford to put small concrete markers on those gravesites. They have temporary markers on them now, although in researching we think there are at least 3 that might not be marked so we'll do some searching now that we know they should be there and see if we can find them. And if there is funding we may put a small bench there so that people can sit and enjoy the solitude of the place. And last, we are looking at putting up a small historical marker that tells what the place is and a small bit of its history.
Sorry for the long post. Let me know if this is something you would like to be a part of.
